Okay, I have Hard Travelin, the documentary Arlo does about Woody where Arlo performs MUCH.......GREAT video and you just KNOW how proud Woody would be of him for finding all those old performers and then singing with them. I love to watch Arlo with Lefty Lou.......you know that had to be such a thrill for Arlo........of course my favorite moments are Pete and Arlo (as usual) peforming together.......and I love how on the record Arlo messes up Rueban James.........you can see in the video he is THINKING about the verse before he sings it and that is just adorable.......

The Arlo Guthrie Show........BEEN through that one.......love watching that one, and Abe in the background.......needed more close ups of him Arlo looked SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good on this show........I LOVE his telling of the Canadian custom story and of his intense version of Victor Hara.........powerful........the Bob Dylan song Gates of Eden is unreal too.........Arlo is the only performer I know that can go from funny to deadly serious and keep the audience right at his side the whole time..........Pete's "If I Had a Hammer" is wondeful, with special nod to the lady in the audience that remembers all the hand signals we learned in school to go along with the song ........David Bromberg and "Testify about My Love".....just an unbelievable song that made me respect him forever as a performer.....

A Vision Shared.........Arlo's performances with Pete, Emmylou Harris, and alone on Grand Coulee Dam are worth the entire video........I wish Arlo and Pete had performed Hobo's Lullaby though. Nods to Bruce Springsteen for "I Ain't Got No Home", John Mellencamp for "Do Rei Me" and U2 for "Jesus Christ"...........and the ending where we see Arlo sing with his Dad on This Land Is Your Land.........I would have been happy just for him to do that whole song that way......
