I just listened to the Presidential Rag, and think Arlo could update it, but could keep most of the same lyrics (If you don't know about that one, then what else don't you know ... we didn't elect your family etc.)

I thought I had every song Arlo ever recorded, but I don't see that in my collection (all on vinyl). When Arlo writes, he can be very powerful. With Bush there's so much material, so many goof-ups he might have to add several stanzas what with the missing millions from the defense budget, bombing Afghanistan, which is such a poor country already just because that snake, Osama Bin Laden, was hiding there (which to me is like bombing Michigan after the Oklahoma bombing because militia groups are harbored there, and I'm from Michigan -- is that my fault?) Then the whole Iraq fiasco, the campaign bashing gay rights based on religious values that not all religions share and many segments of Christianity don't even share, the treatment of the Iraqi prisoners, the missing explosives from the storage space that was in U.S. custody in Iraq, the Rove leaking the agent, the lousy handling of both the tsunami relief and on top of all that, the New Orleans photo op where he had the congresswoman from New Orleans come observe all of the equipment fixing the levy, and then the next day when she returned to the site, there was one lone piece of equipment and absolutely no progress. There's probably more I'm forgetting, but it's so outrageous that people still can't see through him.

Thanks! I'll have to acquire that one. I have one double album of Pete Seger and Arlo, the Together concert (I think it's called or it's just Pete Seger and Arlo Guthrie) It's one of my favorites. They make a great team.
