I just bought a Phoenix 4-2 XLR Mixer from a dealer on eBay. It's in great condition, but it's not like the Phoenix 4-2 mixer I needed to record with a Marantz cassette recorder. I had regular microphones that don't plug into the kind of apparatus this one has in the back. This one has "four professional 3 Pin XLR mic inputs which are intended for use with low impedance balanced microphones and four phono (RCA) line level connectors."

Is this something the New Orleans musicians could use?
