Can anyone who has heard most of Arlo's albums tell me which one they think reflects Arlo's spiritual beliefs the most?

I'd say the Outlasting the Blues Album and stuff like Doors To heaven etc.

They all do... but my choice would be "Mystic Journey" if I had to choose one.

Well, I do agree with both Wyld & Cheryl, & anyone else's input!

The way I see it, each Indivdual person has Indivdual 'Spiritual Beliefs'.

On each of his albums, I'm purdy dern sure that SOMEONE can find something 'Spiritual' for them! I know I have!

And, ARLO...... thank you!!!!!
(i got me a hankerin' fer a pickle, & [grilled cheese!], hmmm)........

..yes with all the dittos for Mystic Journey.....but yes on every recording, too....thought of Meditation....way back on the "Arlo" album.....

Arlo has songs that haven't been relesed the rock my socks off. Popular Demand brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. It even chokes me up sometimes when I play it. Wyld is right though, they all do.

Like everyone said, all of Arlo's albums reflect his spirituality--wherever he was at when he recorded them. When he recorded Outlasting the Blues, Catholicism was a big influence on his writing. Mystic Journey is more where he's at today.

Thanks Judy. I think yours was the answer I was looking for. I know that all along the way there have been Arlo songs that touch us on a spiritual level. Ialso know that he has explored various spiritual pathways. So it seems Mystic Journey is the one that expresses the culmination of all of that.
