I just read an article about New Orleans not recovering. I know there've been donations and stuff. How's it going?

Hi there,

I ran into someone from New Orleans yesterday, and the news reports aren't exaggerating very much. People are returning, but many are loosing their land.

I have family member's that went down to the coast to do construction work, the word they have is the insurance companies are real slow about letting go of the funds. How can we help in this case?

Geez, I don't know. I don't feel comfortable letting you know too many details.

The people I know about are being bought out by someone in the city who plans to put a parking lot where their home is.
Family members here don't want them to sell, but they feel they need to move on with their lives.

They were meeting with a lawyer today or tomorrow. They still have their business though, and things are picking up on that end.
