Oh boy! We can't wait! (People in Germantown can even afford tix, so all should go well. By the by: The New Daisy tacked on an extra $10.00 for tickets bought at the door, which could account for some of the turnout glitch your last time through here. Anyway, I know a few people who were deterred thusly.) The ticket prices for the GPAC show are advertised in the papers, and won't change at last minute. Always a plus ...

You know this no doubt, but just in case ... The local paper is The Commercial Appeal, the alternative and music newspaper is The Memphis Flyer (and let's don't forget The Nightflyer out of Little Rock, being as that it's regional.) Channel 3 is the TV station that met y'all at the train station and covered the New Orleans show. They do a news and human interest show that's broadcast live from Peabody Place, every morning at 9am. (I bet they'd love it if someone were to drop by for an interview and/or a taste of things to come. At least I mean, I know I'd be thrilled. )

Hey -- any chance you guys will make it down for Memphis in May this (or any) year? (Did I mention that I'm volunteering for it this year, and they're putting me in Hospitality? Heh heh heh heh heh...)

Hoping you break your collective legs ... and just in passing, which is weirder? Getting arrested for littering, or getting hacked by the Army of Islam? Yiiiiiiii

That would be Nightflying out of Little Rock. Oops. Yeah, well. What do I know? (What is, "Not a whole lot," would be the correct answer.)

Still hoping to see the show. You never know, though. It could happen against all odds. As usual. See y'all again someday, anyway.

Have a blast!
Muffy. In Memphis.

Hi, Arlo, Can't wait to see you again this Saturday in Memphis. We
will be on the lst or 2nd row I think. We were at the show in December
at the New Daisy on the front row. We were the ones dancing an'
movin' to the wonderful music of you and your family. Saw a great show on TV the other night called Downtown Memphis and they had a great clip about you and your tour in December. Hope you can loosen up the crowd in Germantown. That venue has great sound, but sometimes the crowd at the shows at that venue are way too uptight. It is very hard to sit still, when you want so to get up and dance at your seat, but you have to restrain yourself at that venue, unless of course, everyone else would get up and dance too. Maybe they will if you will tell them to loosen up and
get up and enjoy the music. If I can't get up and move during the show, I know I will during the encore. They will just have to get mad. Music gets to your soul and makes you want to dance........... I am the one
with long brown hair and my husband white hair, white beard and looks a little like "Jerry".

P.S. I love a quote I saw of yours, "Pass your peace, round and round, cross hands of every hue". Hope you don't mind me using it as much as I can. I always give you the credit for it. It is a wonderful message.

We love you, Arlo,
Jane

Hey Jane!
Enjoy the show... it's always blunderful to see Arlo!

That song you quote, I love it too... it's "My Peace" and it's one Arlo pulled out of his Dad's archives to set to music... Woody's words are still so very relevant!

We've only seen Arlo one other time... about 10 years ago in Spokane, WA. It was the best show we'd ever been to.

See ya there!
