I've been searching the net for chords to "When the Cactus is in Bloom" using Jimmie Rodgers as the search. What an idiot! Should have thought to check Arlo. I feel like I've been caught by a dumb cop dumping garbage out of a VW van. Can anyone help a beginner with the chords?

2motorbike: Sorry I can't help you. I get disscouraged with surfing the web, as usually you come up with, something for sale. I was hoping I had it in the book "Rise Up Singing". Kinda surprized it wasn't in there.

I did enjoy listening to the samples, as I just had to listen to said song. On my search for my copy of the RUS book, I was surprized the all played continously. My favorite is " I want to be a Cowboy " That song has the exact yodeling, and harmony Arlo talks about, when he mentions the "Banjo Man" CD.... ( I think it hinges with the Dolly Parton story ) when reminising about Derrol Adams...

Yeah that old book 'Rise Up Singing' has allot of songs. It must be my favorite book. And that's my favorite song from the album simply called, 'Arlo Guthrie'..... I'll be sure to try that one later, and again, look for the real chords.
