i went to the show in seattle on the 21st of march. listening to the bit about joseph's coat reminded me of brother dave gardner. by any chance is arlo familiar with the reverend billy sol hargis of del rio texas?

Brother Dave was a friend...

i am envious. while i never got to meet him, brother dave was one of my heroes in my misspent youth (is there any other kind?). many of us out here on the left coast had memorized his albums. 'where's my smooth, flat, slick river rock' and 'miss baby didn't die til we turned her head around' were shared knowledge amongst the whole bunch.
