Hey Arlo,..... (or anyone with such knowledge)...

..... Does Pete Seeger ever sign autographs, and if so..... where do I have to go to meet him?

I have Tao's signature on the 12-string that you yourself signed at Interlochen, MI..... but to get Pete's love on my Banjo would be spectacular!!!

Any chance of the three of us meeting up at the church? (Michigan is kindof a hop, skip, and a jump from Massachussets..... but I'd been meaning to make the trip one of these days....... it would be heavan to make it to such an event). :P

I've got Don McLean on my first acoustic,..... Arlo, The Mammals, and John Barry on my 12-string, and Gordon Lightfoot on my Samick 6-string that I inherited from a deceased loved-one. I can think of NO BETTER PERSON to grace my banjo-head than Pete Seeger.

Just a dream,..... can anyone make this come true? :D

Hey Don,
I'm still very new to the board, but I have a suggestion. I grew up in the Mid-Hudson valley, Pete Seeger country. Ever been to the Hudson River Revival? Check out https://www.clearwaterfestival.org/ My understanding is that Pete is very hard of hearing now, but when I met him about thirty years ago at a presentation he did at my high school, he was a soft-spoken, warm, generous man. He remains one of my all-time heroes for the work he has done for the Hudson River and working people. He is a truly great man.

Years ago when I was a kid (and I mean YEARS ago), he played a folk festival in NJ. He was sitting on the grass listening to music, and I got up the nerve to ask for his autograph. So he signed my program, and I still have it. :D

I have Pete's autograph an on few items. I last saw him right after 9/11 in CT and he was autographing away. He'll be at the Hudson river revival in June so you might have a chance to meet up with him.

Bill in CT
