Well, it's finally about to get here anyway.

I've taken note that the schedule, among other things, is no longer working here on arlo.net.... It's an outdated technology, and no longer able to function these days, although some parts are still holding on. I get to chime in every once in awhile, although not as frequently as I once did. arlo.net has lasted a very long time - It went online in May 1995, so it's gone just past the 30 year line. That's pretty good! I was around 48 years old at the time, I'm a little older now. There's a lotta water under that bridge. Memories are fun at times, but like my old buddy, Rick Nelson wrote "But if memories were all I sang, I'd rather drive a truck"

arlo.net won't be around forever, so if there's something of value to you, I'd copy it and store it somewhere safer. Meanwhile, I hope everyone has a fabulous summer 2025! See ya soon... Maybe.

{edit] Dave is on it, so things may be restored sooner than later.
[ More edits] Dave has restored most of (if not all of the schedule - Good 4th of July so far.

The Summer is definitely here . We are expecting temps in the 100's next week. As for Arlo.net it's been wonderful to have and I would like to thank you and your staff for it . We have our memories , we have all grown together and we share some of the same memories. They will be cherished actually I'm taking my grandson up to the Berkshires in a few weeks by way of the BB HoF in Springfield. Hopefully we'll create some new memories ourselves. Please to you and everyone one here have a great Summer and as always be safe and well! Maybe we will meet at the Church some day.

Monday 6/23/25 and we have an heat Index reading of 100 at 2:42 pm. Suppose to get worse rest of the week, relief may come on Friday. To all be careful in this heat at these temps it's nothing to play in or with! Be Safe!

It did get hot! Sign of things to come. Right now it's cooled off a little. But later this summer... OMG it might be too hot in a lot of places.

About a week ago I took a quick trip up to the Basketball HoF with my youngest Grandson who loves BB and is 14 . We left from MD and made the treck up there and the place is great , I'm not a BB person but still very cool. We left and drove to the Berkshires and stayed at the Red lion . Along the way he was full of questions and why and how I came to know this place and yes Arlo your name came up as well as others . He was genuinely interested it was fun . Day two was a quick trip up to Vermont , Manchester and Bennington and the Vermont Country store. On the way back we hit Greylock he had never seen let alone been to the Mountains so he was thrilled. Last thing we did was ride by the Church and it's importance had been fully explain then we stopped at the Taft Farmers Market and picked up an Apple Pie and a few things for the ride home. He knows his way around Stockbridge pretty well now(lol).

Yes and as always around here in Southern Maryland there are some very small signs fall is on the way. As you said the Crickets are a little more active and a few small trees are starting to turn . Looking forward to my trip back up to the Berkshires in 4 weeks.
