Holy Moly! June first. Who'd a think! It was a sunny day too! A little cool here on the hill, but wow!

LOL, it sneaks up fast. Between Anniversary's and Birthdays we have a busy beginning of the Month and then bam, it's Summer(in 2 weeks). I know it's just me but once I hit June things just move quickly. I love the Summer but my favorite time is Fall. I just finished my itinerary for my annual Fall pilgrimage to the Berkshires in October.

I wanted to send a “thank you”, did some exploring and found arlo.net. Happy June to you! Every morning your Gabriel's Mother's Highway Ballad #16 gets played in the radio I keep in my heart. I learned it in 1972. I try to start each day by setting my heart and mind on things above (Col 3:1,2). Thank you for helping me see the wheels way up in the air every day. Thank you for telling me that Jesus is going to make me well - I took that totally to heart in 1972. Thank you for reminding me that I’m going to where a man can dwell.

Best to you
Doug

(I don’t mean to interrupt)

I love that song too. Maybe I am on a spectrum of sorts…

Blessed be

I finally made my account after a few years of watching this website and I finally got the courage to join the club. I've loved your music since I was 14, I'm 16 now. I love all things folk music and you and your father are heroes to me. :)

I'm genuinely in shock that you responded, thank you so much. I was going to put more because I have so many questions about Woodstock, The Rolling Blunder Review, Alice's Restaurant, Mr. Woody Guthrie, and about a thousand other things about you but I chickened out. Do you take questions about your life? I became interested in music ever since I discovered Bob Dylan (Typical gateway into folk, still a life changer!) in my great grandfathers record pile. After that I found your father (I remember first listening to Tear the Fascists Down) and that cemented my taste in folk. I love a lot of others, (Phil Ochs, Richard and Mimi Farina, Joan Baez, Cisco Houston, Country Joe and the Fish, Pete Seeger, and plenty of others) but my favorite are you, Mr. Woody Guthrie, and Bob Dylan. (I saw him last December and it was amazing!) :D

Happy 4th of July to All! Hope everyone has a great and safe day! A Little cloudy here so I'll pull up Mr. Fiedler and his 1812 Overture to celebrate.
