It's already 2025 half way around the world. Soon it'll creep over thru here. Although there's hardly anyone here at arlo.net, it's still going, at least for now, and I just had to wish anyone reading this a Happy New Year. Time marches on! My good friend, Gordon Titcomb, (who worked with us for a very long time) told me :"My plan is to live forever - So Far so good" That cracked me up! But he's right. :)

We're into 2025 now. Geez it's going fast, well it seems that way anyhow. It's amazing to me that a quarter of this new (to me) century mark has come. I'm a 1900s kind of guy - Old school. Everything that happened to me was nineteen hundred such and such - Except for the last 25 years of course. :)

Same to you. If you can please tell anyone over there who will listen not all Americans agree with the idiots running this Country. We're sorry.

Don't worry. Anyone with a bit of brains (and soul) can tell the difference between the government and “normal” Americans. But that such a bad and deceitful person is elected to this office again is simply unbelievable - after the storming of the Capitol! It's madness and it's dangerous for the world, for minorities and for the environment!!!
But we have a similar problem here: half of Europe is run by right-wing governments! Hard times are dawning for democracies and humanity! Concepts that could only be uttered behind closed doors in the past are now being openly postulated into a camera - without blushing! The language is nothing but dogmatic, loud and vulgar. I'm ashamed to say that I write poetry! What would your father say to all this? Unfortunately, songwriters and poets no longer have any power in times of anti-social media.
Just a hug
J.
(Sorry for such a long post!)

"To everything there is a season" and we're in one of those dark seasons. Seems that way to me.

These guys in the big offices, wearing their expensive clean suits to hide their stained souls - where all these decisions are secretly made...what I'm asking myself all the time:
don't they have children and grandchildren too??

Yeah, the great Pete Seeger and it's so true!

I know.
(And this despite the fact that I am not a believer - at least not in the catholic organized church of intolerance.)
Have a nice start into this week!

LOL, yes he did. Living where I do in So. Maryland we are close to DC and have and know many Government employees. Also have a few relatives that work in the Government(civilian employees of the DoD) and the worst part is that a few Billionaires who have never had a job or worked a day in their lives are name calling and accusing others of not doing their jobs.

Arlo you and your Friends did their part to enlighten others about injustice and World wrongs sadly their are very few that do that today.
