Yup. It 60 years ago, on Thanksgiving when a friend and I.... You know the rest. Well, maybe not all the rest, as it does tend to go on for about 20 minutes. The schedule (calendar) doesn't seem to be working at the moment, at least on my computer, but it's there (somewhere). The Wizard (Dave) will probably get around to fixing it one of these days. Meanwhile,I wanted to wish everyone reading this a great Thanksgiving Holiday. :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Family Arlo! Thank you for the Wonderful Thanksgiving tradition you have help so many start in their own homes with their own Families. So please everyone eat and enjoy your families...no politics today.

Hi Arlo!
I don't know if you will see this, but I thought I'd wish you a happy Thanksgiving and share a link to a cover I just posted of the song - all 18 minutes of it (I think I also got it on the main forum successfully). I heard you perform the song a decade ago on the 50th anniversary tour when I was 11 or 12 years old. I'm just about to graduate college now, and your music and storytelling continue to be a big source of inspiration for me.

Hey Arlo,
On this Thanksgiving Day, I have to thank you so much for everything! One of my earliest memories is listening to your Running Down the Road album with the jacket hanging open on our living room wall, like a poster of you riding the dirtbike. My parents are long gone, but I still have the album and yes, I have the jacket hanging on my wall!!! Much love, many prayers, and more blessings to you!

Running Down The Road, was my first studio album. Glad to hear it's still somewhere! :)
