The Rolling Blunder Review is sent out, when there is one, to members of the Guthrie Center, so if you join the Guthrie Center, there's always the chance you might get one in the mail someday....

Glad you got the book. Hope you have fun reading it!

hey thelmalou, how do you do?

to blatently steal from the old FT, we're all blunderites on this bus!

(and don't worry, after a few minutes hangin' around the front and back halfs, you'll lose that blundervirgin mantle all too quickly!)

Now... are we in the right place here? or should I move this puppy???

it was thelmalou's thread to begin with so if she wants to go wandering off to find an electrician (or somebody like him) then who are you to crush that dwarf, back half (aside from being the moderator)?

goofus... I am that I am!

:? :o

Puppies ... dwarves ... peace wrapped within riddles ... unanswered questions ... electricians......

I guess I'd assumed this thread was a 24-hour diner where you can hang out, ask questions on and off topic, leave and stretch your legs ... come back and re-ask an old question or pose a new one......

Or are we supposed to be 'walkin down the line' ?

Clue me in, BlunderBuddies, clue me in ....

There's also Mooses and Gooses and Clams over on The Blunderboard.
OH And there is Celery Time.......wherever you can find it. I live in the future and upside down because I'm from the Land of Oz (tho I was born and partly raised rightside up in the Beaver State) and GOSH can that be confusing sometimes. OHH and there's also Confused Gnus and real News after awhile you'll get to know which is witch  and there's sometimes broomsticks and the Front and Back Halves of course, also known as Larnie.

Your head will stop spinning after a time, but not forever!

T'lou, most threads seem to wander off topic a little or a lot, but our esteemed and distinguished moderators 8) do try to keep things as organized as they can. One tip--to get more familiar with what's where, go to "Forums" on the left and find new posts there instead of entering the forums from the "cheat sheet" of most recent posts on the home page.

You assume that there is someone here that knows what they are doing?

i'll choose this spot to insert this gentle reminder:
There are two sets of forums in the Arlonet Forums area.
The first are the Arlonet Main Forums... and the rules there (here!) are rather simple (sorta like most of us), that we ask you to try and stay on topic 'A'.
Thus, discussions of what sort of virgin you've become, how long you're gonna visit aunt mary down in the penitentiary, stuff like that just shouldn't be here... askin' questions of the folkslinger, askin' questions about the folkslinger, slingin' folk at the other folks talkin' about the folkslinger... all good things to do.
Now the OTHER set of forums are collectively known as the Group W Forums... and as you can guess, this is where ANY topic (within human tolerance, please) is allowed, and no need to focus on the aforementioned slinger. Again, don't get too gross, disgusting, or mean spirited... because then we gotta get dave to unleash one of the DOD missles he keeps at the ready for just such occassions...

so does that make it clearer to all?
good.

now, about those dwarfs, it was the front half who slipped the little guy into the bag, and then... oh... sorry, I forgot where I was. You'll have to read up on this over at the Group W forums... it should be there any day now...

Hi Arnie: Thanks for the info. So here, where I started this thread asking my question about the origins and history of My Peace, should have contained only that question. Since I had so many other questions (if you'll see all my postings here), where would I have asked them if not here? I know I wouldn't have started a new thread for each question, or would I (re: Is there a thread or website to discuss the movie Alice's Restaurant, for one question).

It's starting to sound like I should keep my questions to myself unless they pertain to one specific thing. That's a little stifling, but if those are the rules, okay.

I did check out the W forums and they look interesting.

thelmalou!!!

please don't be stifled... rules? we have but one... enjoy your stay here in arlo.net!

seriously (?) you can open as many threads as you like, or you can ask as many questions in one thread as you can stand to type... again, the only semblance of order we ask for, is that in the Arlo-centric forums, you keep on topic-A. Go over to the Group W forums to discuss anything and everything your heart desires. Ask all the silly things you want. I guarantee you'll get silly (and some not so silly) answers.

Ok? So ask away.... now kid!

I'll add one coda - if you're worried about asking questions that have already been asked/answered, you can try using the SEARCH button under the ARLONET FORUMS header above. Or just go trolling through all the threads that are available and relive some history if you have the time...

Blunder on.

I hate to tell you Thelmalou, but Arnie is saying go to the Group W bench. NOW KID!

Edited to say:

I already said this was all Dave's fault for putting the bench under the net...but that's not really true...It's all Arlo's fault...cause Dave wouldn't be here if it weren't for Arlo...
