Today was a great day for me . In guitarschool we had to play for the first time in public and..... it was a succes ! With two electric guitars , one acoustic ( played by myself ) a bassguitar and drums .Whe did 2 songs and dispite the nervs whe had it was going verry well . It was also my singing debute ( i did Knocking on heavens door from Bob Dylan ) That was the second song whe did . The first one was a Dutch song and was singing by a girl from our band . This was a great step for us . It was a nice feeling to have a warm applause from the public. Now whe have the taste of it and whe are going on .

Glad everything went well for you. Congrats! The monthly bluegrass jams will be Fri nite & I'll be there playing badly on my dulcimer & canjo lol. Folks watch us jam & we have an audience. I'm not too nervous cuz are just jamming. Now a real performance & I am scared to death. I've been roped to play piano for some church ladies singing in the church Christmas play. Scary lol...

Thank you people for the support . Cheryl , you say piano ? Than you must be able to read music partiture . Thats to difficult for me. I never had lessons on music theory , only chords and tabs . It must be wonderful to play piano . Dont be afraid , you are gonna do it well .
Ceashel , i am gonna buy me a recorder for connecting with the computer so i can record my music in the future . Than it is also possible to send a song with e-mail . Remember , we are not proffesionals ( its all just for fun )

I took piano for eight years and studied organ (the instrument, Larry!) and voice for shorter times. I never pursued any of it after high school, but it was a good grounding for being a Blunderite. I love being an audient and I do appreciate all the hard work that you musicians, professional and amateur, are doing.

You know Shel, in the intrests of good taste and stuff, I can at times actually resist a good straight line!

You'll have to put some videos on Youtube. I studied piano & organ too. I do know how to read music but haven't read any in yrs cuz I play by ear now. It is so much easier & I don't need to buy sheet music. I just play it however it comes out & however I feel. So much easier that way...

Cheryl, I wish I would be there to hear it. I like bluegrass and I especially like the dulcimer, although I have never played one.

I love to try to play the auto harp. Although it seem not many ever play it anymore. Really too bad.
