I can't believe what I just found in an old box of VHS tapes that I was going through to pack for my move: THE Wolftrap Concert! Apparently, someone many years ago sent it to me on VHS and it got buried along with other old videos only to resurface this morning. It's not in the best condition but as soon as I can figure out how to transfer it to DVD, anyone who wants a copy can email me and put in a request. I'll need B&P... just goes to show... where there's a will, there's a way!

Wish me luck in working out how to do the transfer...

Terrie

Is this an Arlo & Pete Show or an Arlo show only? I once had an audio tape of Pete & Arlo broadcast from Wolftrap from years ago which has long disappeared. It was good stuff ... as always.

A DVD player/recorder can be pretty cheap. I got one after Christmas for maybe $80.00 at an electronic chain store. It is the way to preserve old video tapes. I bought it mostly to digitize the home-video tapes I made when my sons were younger and so I could easily make copies. A VHS tape doesn't have a long shelf life anyway and tape can easily get eaten up by a bad tempered VCR. The DVD version is about as permanent a copy as you can make. It is a worthwhile investment just for the sake of preserving all those home videos from days gone by.

I had it transfered to DVD last month at the college. If you want a copy, you need to send me an email with your mailing address. I only have 3 left, so it's first come, first served. Unless you are will to make copies and help distribute! Also, B&P.

I transferred all my old VHS to DVD last year. Old shows and bootlegs. I had all the seinfelds on VHS and started converting them because they werent coming out on DVD for the longest time. soon as i started, the dvds came out!

Its a PBS show, do you think they still have it? Maybe an influx of request will prompt them to play it?

I'm going to (hopefully) make some more copies over the next few days. After that, I'll have to ask that others burn and ship copies, as I'm getting really close to moving day.

I'm having a problem with the master. Arlo, if you get a chance, see if the copy I made for you is OK. If not, I'll see if I can have replacements made by Saturday.

Please, no more requests until I get this problem straightened out. I'll post when I have the problem solved. Sorry for the delays.
