The Friday night performance was great! The songs that at the Church were backed by Abe and Terry and David and Gordon--a world-class band--this time, were backed by a world-class symphony orchestra. I prefer the band for most of the time, but the symphony was an interesting change. Probably the best was seeing people hear the stories and music for the first time. Symphony members started out playing without Arlo and were kind of stiff and maybe bored; after a couple of stories, they ended up laughing and singing along while they accompanied Arlo. A good time was had by all, of a kind that is unusual around here. Thank you, Arlo, from the bottom of my heart.

Arlo signed a tiny fiddle of Jay's--what a treasure it now is!

Jay kept a setlist and I'm sure will post it soon. I was lazy and kept nothing but a smile on my face.
