Hey everyone! Last night was my first Arlo show ever, and I was definitely NOT disappointed. First off, everyone always says the Mammals are great, but I've never seen/heard them before. I was surprised at how good they really were, even with high expectations going into the show! As for Arlo, I was completely blown away, as I knew I would be. I especially liked his version of "House of the Rising Sun". I've always liked that song but have never before heard a version so hauntingly brilliant. I regretfully don't have a set list. The Mammals opened with about 6-7? songs. Then after the intermission Arlo, Abe, and Gordon came on. The two encore songs were "City of New Orleans" followed by "My Peace". After the show, I was fortunate enough to have my copy of Live in Sydney signed by the man himself! :)

I've seen alot of shows over the years, starting with a free concert at American University in Washington, DC in 1973. I've seen Arlo play at McCabe's, the back room of a guitar shop in Santa Monica that holds about 130 people, and at Disney Hall in LA. But a definite highlight for me was finding one half of Folk Uke selling t-shirts in Irvine this past weekend.
