Linear note before posting the setlist. This just might of been THE best Arlo show I've ever heard. What a beautiful evening, with friends, great music. Even Sue gives it a 2 thumbs up. Lovely show. It was like Karma meeting Sparky.... (I'll let him tell the tale) lol

Linear note #2. I was happy to see the various age groups at this show. Kids in thier teens, to little children dancing & singing along. along with Grandparents. People (Folks) of all age groups. Guthrie really captures the meaning of the non-generation gap so wonderfully. Very magical moment in time.

ntm: Abe & Gorden Titcomb really put allot into the music. Some wonderfull Steel pedal, and mandolin playing (and lots of smiles) and Abe is usual self, great on keyboards, and that smile that seems to be painted on. So real, yet surrealistic at the same time. We even (Sparky me & Sue) got to say good-bye as they were heading out. Nice seeing those guys again. It had been too long. Nice to know, some things don't change!!!

Great report and setlist rb, thanks. "Beatles song (There Are Places)" is "In My Life", Judy recorded it on an album back in '66 or '67, the first Judy Collins album I ever owned. I still have it but it is very worn out.

She does a great version of that song. Glad ya'll had a nice time!

Did you get to the "Funny Folk" workshop he did yesterday afternoon with Nancy White and somebody (his name escapes me) from The Arrogant Worms? That workshop was worth yesterday's admission price.

Arlo did - "Try Me One More Time" (I think that's the title), a song about a goose named Al, the story about getting about 10 minutes into "Alice's Restaurant" and then forgetting the lyrics. If he did another song, I've already forgotten what it was.

Main stage set on Sat. was great.

I'll check my pictures tonight. If there are any good ones, can I upload them to the forum?
