Last night was wonderful. The Kimo Theater is "THE" place to see Arlo... it's a beautiful venue with terrific sound.

My friends Suzi and Dorian (a guy Eric's age) went with me and had a great time.

The show was fabulous... did his old standards along with In Times Like These and ended with My Peace. During This Land he told the Joseph story. Still funny after all these years! Alice has been a staple lately. I thought he was only doing that for the 40th anniversary, but he's kept it in his second setlist for the past several years. Can't even think how many times I've heard that live by now. And it's ALWAYS exciting when he first begins... it's fun to watch the audience realize what he's about to sing.

During several songs, I realized I could "see" Abe and Gordon up there with him... and made me really miss them a lot.

Arlo didn't come back out for a meet and greet, but he knew I had stuff to give him so Killer found me and told me to come back. He was in a really talkative mood and told Suzi and me all about some "new" health stuff he's doing. Gave us lots of great information! Things I'd never heard of before. Really, he should write it all down and publish it! He was really animated while not feeling well.

I'm very lucky to have made his acquaintanceship over the years. Not only do I get to participate in wonderful concerts, but I get to chat with him afterward. What a great guy he is!

I hope all of you get to see this new Solo Reunion Tour... he's fabulous by himself. Especially last night in that venue... he sounded so great!

Took me 55 years to see Arlo. I have been to many concerts but Saturday's Arlo show was the best live performance my wife and I have ever seen. He was so friendly. His voice as wonderful as ever. The KiMo is the best! I left the record albums on my coffee table for him to sign and my camera broke at the show. Bummer. I'll have to see him again. I wish I could have met him. Hope the bus made it through the winds on Sunday.
