I feel blessed to have been at the State Theatre last night and experienced Arlo & some of his kids/son-in-law share their music and stories. The stories and humor flow out of Arlo & Sara like the music does and I enjoyed them just as much. Tracy C./WVBR had primed me for it last wknd with her taped interview with Arlo - excellent & interesting. What a gift to the world = musicians like Arlo, Sara & John, who use their voices and talents to give us beauty, humor and thought-provoking inspiration, besides all the other good work they are doing. It was a great show. The Guthries and Irions were in great form and they did a great show. Deb has setlist, maybe she'll post it. Very nice theater, too. Great acoustics, wonderful crowd who was sooo into it and a nice staff. It was also the first time I was ever in Ithaca at all and what a nice town it is.

What a wonderful night. I am so glad I made the drive down to Ithaca for last nights show. It revived me after a long cold winter and too much sour News lately. It was refreshing to sit in a room with so many different people yet all have the same love for great music and entertainment. Thank you Arlo and family for making my life complete.

Moseying Rag in 'G': Thanks, RBrown, for your warm welcome. I'm only in cyberspace at work, so my boppin' in is not gonna be regular. Work is often crazy-busy, like now.
I still want to look for Arlo's newest cd - Borders didn't have ANY of his - can you believe that?! I don't shop online except for work. I will try one of the local little shops next & if all else fails,Barnes & Noble. Sweet Spring Equinox, all!

In the Ithaca Borders, I couldn't find any Arlo in the folk section (plenty of Woody though) but I did find him in the Pop/Rock section. Sadly there were only 3 selections, Greatest Hits, Alice's Rest., and Alice's Rest the Masacree revisited...(all terrific by the way)but a larger selection would be nice (they will order anything you want though).

Hey... I know some people don't like to order things online... but check the "get stuff" section of this website...

It's Rising Son Records... buy directly from Arlo... you can trust these people... and they would take phone orders, too, I'm sure!
