Here's an expensive Arlo show for ya:

http://rockymountainnews.com/drmn/music ... 02,00.html

$150 to $250 a show. Glad I don't live near there or I'd be freakin out. I know it's a benefit but most folks who'd want to go probably can't afford it.

For probably close to the same price or a little more we are getting to go to 4 shows in a weeks time. :) If anyone goes, enjoy the show! :)

Wow... yes that seems like a lot of money... but when you think about what the money will do! Check out www.RiverReach.org to see where the money is going!

Incidentally, there have been other, far less costly Arlo shows in the area... so 'just plain folks' like us would be able to see him, too!

Way to go, Arlo!

Thanks for posting that, Cheryl. It was a great read! :) I, like you, would not be happy if it were near me because I probably wouldn't spend that much money for a concert ticket. BUT -- if anyone goes, please let us know how it was!!

get over it Cheryl & Cyndy...

It's clearly a benefit to do some good (great article/interview I thought), and you can't sell tix for a buck and do anyone any good these days! So take a huge reality check, and instead of griping and whining and getting all upset that you can't afford that one particular show, just hope that arlo sells out that show, and consider all the good stuff he's helping to make happen.
and then, remember the price of those tickets the next time you go see arlo on the cheap (and cheap is a relative term to everyone), and consider that he's able to perform at such high prices, and how lucky you are that he doesn't choose to do that all the time!

Don't worry I wasn't griping & whining about that show. :) When I came across the article on this show, it reminded me of this topic & I just thought folks might be interested. It doen't bother me cuz it's not a show anywhere near me. :) Now if it were near me that'd be a different story LOL! :) & We think it's great he's helpng out with benefits...
