Not much I can add to the above, This was my first walk and first time I've been to the church. I did all 6 miles thanks to my niece. we were one of the last to make it but we did. What a treat to see all the places that were just mental thoughts in my mind. Now I can say I saw The Dump, The POLICE OFFICER'S Station, ALICE'S RESTAURANT and The Church and than the best part of all was the Arlo concert at the Church. It rained on the walk but to me it was a GREAT weekend

didn't mean this to be in 2 parts...but posting hasn't been working for me lately...now it is.....

...thanks to everyone for a great weekend.....

...the rain may have kept folks away and with good reason but it brought out alot in those who were there.....amazing to finish grat8ful and so many who did in the face of cold and rain....the money comes in and that's wonderful....but it's hard to communicate the kind of energy that happens....that's truly remarkable... and was no less with fewer people....
there are many folks there who's lives are deeply touched by HD.....and the Guthrie Center provides this time with alot of effort and energy with an opportunity to connect and do something......it's such a great experience to be part of...i loved hanging around JimP at the restaurant as he congratulated everyone who came through...no matter how...his gratitude and heart are amazing...Lisa G. had some bumper stickers for next year's walk .... consider joining.... Sunday, May 21, 2006....

the concert was so much fun.....great music, alot of fun and laughter...the Bible stories are growing and turning new and unusual corners...what a hoot.....wait 'til they come your way....

...Gordon's solo on his train song was especially remarkable with Arlo joining in with a kind of round of CONO....sounds like something they are working on and it's really great...hope it keeps comin round, too....

thanks again to everyone including my wonderful sponsors....the Guthries, Jim Pollard, the Chief of Police in Stockbridge who *loves* this event...the wonderful ladies from Ware... a couple of those pics came out great....
they'll be up soon....mom and daughter from Akron...thanks for the company on the walk, Jim from Adams who drove us when we couldn't walk anymore, you are photogenic!!....good to finally meet Terrie, well there's just so much....special thanks to George and some special good news....how great the Church is looking....and doing....
ahh life is good....and so are y'all...

I had planned on attending until all my walking partners backed out and we had horrible weather...I was pretty upset I couldn't go, it sounds like a very special event. Next year, rain, sleet or snow, I'll be there!

I wish I could have seen the concert too - I was at the Plymouth one a couple weeks ago, but when can you ever get enough Arlo? :)

Ahhh, it was great hearing Arlo with some of his old band-mates.
Arlo, I hope you got some well deserved "Arlo time" to cruise around on the Indian.
