Just wanted to give another thumbs up for the syrup. My children and my wife loved it too. We have had it on Whole-wheat sourdough pancakes and it has totally replaced honey on cornbread.

Living so close to Vermont, I've had a lifetime of being spoiled when it comes to maple syrup.... NO NY, Vermonts IS better...

So curiousity killing the cat, rb will just have to try some of that.

NTM: what a neat idea for Xmas presents.. did someone mention that allready

Anyone know how many grams of sugar it has in it? With my luck it'll be more than us diabetics can have but just wondering... :)

It's syrup, Cheryl...about 52 grams per serving...we can't have it!!
Put some fresh strawberries on those waffles...or blueberries..or fresh peaches and pecans!!

Got a reply from Jackie over at the company who manufacturers the syrup and she said that the sugar content is just about the same # of sugar grams as pure maple syrup.

Thanks for the info ya'll. :) I'd love to taste it to see what it is like. I bet it is good. The drs told us we can have stuff with 6 grams or less of sugar in it so I thought maybe if it has about 6 or 8 grams it might be okay. I guess not lol. But I figured with my luck it was probably loaded with sugar. I'll stick with Sues suggestion of the fruit & our sugar free syrup we have. It would be nice to try it out but I can't whack up my blood sugars. It's nice having them in the 120's these days. I haven't had regular maple syrup in so long I have forgotten what it tastes like lol. I bet if he put out a sugar free version it would sell better than the regular.. Not trying to create more work for ya Ar... :)

I HEAR YA CHERYL!!!!! :D I'd buy the sugar free syrup!! There's so many carbs, as it is in pancakes and waffles and then the sugar --oh well! I did buy it for the family and it hasn't arrived yet. Maybe on Christmas morning ... just a little taste -- Merry Christmas to me!!
