I saw the second half last night. It took a while for the connection to be available. I'm going to connect early tonight, and hope to catch the whole show! (the show starts at 9 central time ... ten here in the east... seven pacific time... and sometime tomorrow in OZ! Check your local time zone!

If you connect NOW, you can get the sound-check! No video for it, though.

Wow! I was listening in and watching on the internet feed from sound check to the end of the concert...it was fabulous and I felt like I was almost there. Wish I could have been there in person, but this was a good substitute. I've been stuck here at home keeping my germs to myself for the past couple of days and being able to hear/see the concert over the internet was just the best. Thanks!! Sue

I don't know if it's possible to record this kind of webcast... it was a live feed, which i watched on Windows Media Player. (If there is a way, I'd like to know what it is)

The show was WONDERFUL... and I see on Tipitina's website that they offer previous webcasts. I don't know if this will be one of them in the future, but I'll keep checking back.

Of course, if it were offered for sale, to benefit the foundations that are working to bring the music back to New Orleans... I would certainly buy a copy... What do you say, Arlo????

Great idea, Wyld! I'm sure it would be some work to get the soundboards ready, but cds of the Tipitina's shows would be a good way to raise some money.

And it was a great show! Thanks for letting them webcast it, Arlo!

kurt...

Yes, Arlo.... can last night's show (or the entire tour) be released on DVD? Complete with the interviews?

Last night I felt like I was "almost there" too.... it was great fun watching and singing along. And now there are 2 more artists who I never heard of whose CDs are a must-have! Thanks Arlo. Great job!

Sue, I hope you feel better soon. Wasn't that sound-check neat to listen to? Wyld, thanks for making us aware of this live feed.... it was SO much fun.

I looked for John, Shelley and Jay at the end but didn't see them. Did anyone spot someone you know?

Did anyone keep a list of performers? I didn't and now I wish I had. I remember John Flynn and already ordered a CD of his. But there was someone else, before him... and I can't remember his name.

There is a way with free software...I downloaded it yesterday but it won't recognize my onboard audio. It's called Cam Studio. I think you have to have a separate sound card for it to work though.

Yes, what a fantastic show that was last night. It was really great seeing Xavier play live together again. I had forgotten how much that Randy Cormier can really belt out a tune. Great stuff.

Also loved the G-babes. Expecially when Folk Uke, did a song with the Dads, Willie and Arlo. It was incredible...

I have to add what a F**King jerk that guy must of been to snap a picture of Rambling Jack, when someone just before he came on, requested no one do so. Jack Elliot seemed enitirely pissed off.... When he was asked to sing anothe song, and said no, I blame it on the jerk who snapped the camera in his face... ntm: I certainly don't blame Jack Elliot...

Jack says. Apparently you didn't just hear the guy, that said no photos. And thru his two songs, would ask the guy what size film he was using. Being very sarcastic...

All and all it was a tremendous show. Like the musicians that said they didnt' want to leave. That's the way watching the show was. You didn't want it to end..

I also looked for shelly and jay, and JohnC, but no luck in that dept... Altho it made it interesting, wondering if they had back stage passes :-)

THANKS so much Wyldflower for the early Xmas present, as I'd of never known about it, had you not posted.....

Hey Reg, was that a shot? A little birdie tells me that I am in dutch with you on the webcast thing.

No back stage passes...just in the heard. It was a great time... blunders always are.

JohnC needs to write a monograph!
