I just wanted to say how much this song touched me and how Arlo's commentary hit so close to home. As he introduced the song he talked about the days following Hurricane Katrina. How he had to change the TV channel from the news reports to someone selling jewelry or something. That rang so true for me

I was born and raised in New Orleans. I left there when I was 29 and moved to Dallas with my husband. Even though I now feel that Dallas, after 14 years here, is becoming my home, a huge part of my heart is still in New Orleans. Both my family and my husband's family lives there but luckily escaped any major damage. Several family members evacuated to my home and were here for a couple of weeks. In the days after the hurricane all tv's and computers in my home were tuned to hurricane news. My Sister's and Niece trying hard to get information on their homes and the city that we all so dearly loved. We sat there emotionally torn apart as we watched what was unfolding in our city. Life stopped for my family as the rest of the world moved on.

When I listened to Arlo's introduction and to the song I felt the words deep in my heart. It affirmed for me that no matter what happens life goes on. Just the same as we must go on!
