Hi folks,

Looking forward to my fist arlo gig tonight. If some of the posts here are anything to go by it should be a real treat.

Just returned to Yorkshire afer 3 days in Dublin taking in Arlo's concert
at Vicar Street. The concert was tremendous in fact we considered it the best Arlo gig we have been to and having seen him over 20 times including Church concerts that is sure one good concert. The music and story telling along with an audience who responded to Arlos humour and singing must tell the promoters that this has to be an annual event. We even met Colum Sands and enjoyed several pints of the Black Stuff in Temple Bar and thanks to the Irish people for their wonderful hospitality

Yes, I can say the Dublin gig was fantastic! Very memorable.
There was even a Jim Morrison look-a-like in the audience making his
presence felt :-) The band were brilliant-I'd love to know what the
Irish jig (?) they played was. It sounded familiar, but I cant put my finger
on what it was.

For anyone interested check out my review tomorrow on Visions Of Dylan,

Hi, Melinda. The Irish jig might have been Little Beggar Man, aka Red-haired Boy. Just a guess, since adg's been doing that song lately.
