Hey Group,
Just thought I'd let you all know that the show is probablly one of the best I've seen. This was my first AG show but what a truly awsome night. Arlo, Abe, Sarah Lee,Johnny and Arlo you folks are the best.. The trueness of the music and the stories that you told are great and I am just so honored that you brought your show and message to us in Rolla.
I also wish to thank you for coming out and signing arlo graphs after the preformance I know you all must have been tired but it was really great.
Thanks Guthrie family for keeping the music alive and so real. I know that Woody has to be proud..

folkfan 71... It's nice to keep that ideology..... There's days I think... Me mom would be proud if she were alive to learn of this, and learn of that?

But I think, the philosophy goes.... Ag once said, ( prarphrazing here ) "We've lost allot of people lately. People we can't afford to lose! But I think of them sometimes, and they seem to be around. Maybe even more around, than the people I've been talking to... I can feel em...."""

Theres allot of 'Paraphrasing goin on..... But I must be getting old, or feeling nostalgic or something.. Maybe I've just lost one too many friends, and don't wanna let go??? Far be a wiser man than I to figure any of it out...

I do believe that people do leave here.... And some of them... (e.p. Woodys a good ex.) WELL, they leave such a good impression you know... They have boundless love for the world, and the way things outtabe..... That they're spirits, just can't help, but come back from time to time, and check out a situation, that is so right... And, you can feel the presence.... It's so hard for me to put any of this into words ya know. But I believe Woody is proud..... And if my whole theory is wishfull thinking...... Woody wood be proud...... Tradtion is a hard thing to come by, in this country sometimes.....

Rb

Arlo and family were in St Louis last night, and it was superb! We have been to all shows and this was the best by far. Sharing Woody's recording made us all feel like part of something very special. The show took us away from the madness going on outside of the music hall to a much simpler place and time. Arlo is a master storyteller (the apple don't fall from the tree) and Sarah Lee has a lovely voice complimenting her husband's. Loved the sing-a-longs. I certainly hope they continue to revisit St Louis.
