This year's Carnegie Hall show was my first time seeing Arlo and family live (I'm a recent convert to folk music; pardon me for taking so long), and what a show it was! Great stuff. Talent abounded in all sizes and shapes, from the tall to the small. The tickets were an early Christmas present for my wife. Now I can settle back and buy her a box of raisins, a button, and a Pee Wee Herman doll, because there's no way I can top your show as far as gifts. Many thanks to Arlo, your family, and the four union men who gang–toted your guitar into Carnegie Hall for a great night.
One note for next year's show: I'd love to hear you perform the Car Song. If a bribe is necessary, I'll gladly send one along (why let the politicians be the only ones bending each other's wills). Sorry, no cash; we'll have to work it out in trade. Maybe I can haul some of your garbage to the dump and start my own legacy.

My first chance to post here since the show in NYC at Carnige Hall. Just wanted to say thanks, somehow, not sure how, but somehow you and yours always makes ours feel almost part of something bigger when we see you and yours at one of these shows... Well thanks to you all, and the grand kids looked like they almost had as good a time as we did! many blessing for the up comming year.
