But flying in, I had adventures in the airport. They put me in a room and took my trousers. Shades of the Group W Bench.

Wow. What an ordeal. Very group w indeed. I mean can you blame them? That dove mighta flew off your shirt and pooped on the windsheild of the plane, or flew into one of the engines!

Next time I fly, I'm going pantless. They may think I'm sick and let me through. Or perhaps I should go with a friend, and we can both be pantless...I dunno if "don't ask don't tell" would work there or not......................or............Imagine 50 pantless people a day walking up to airport security ..............they may think it's a movement........or an orgy, I don't know..........in any case, there would probably be lottsa guys with sunglasses and earpieces coming outta the back room..........

That's bad they put ya thru all that just cuz of a peace on earth t-shirt. Reminds me of the time we got searched for drugs on the way to an Arlo show when our car broke down. If they think you're a hippie type even if you're not you're suspect to fuzz & whatnot. Have fun at the show! Wish I could go but it's too close to the Hampton shows & the weathers not good for traveling up there. Have fun... :)

thanks for the story...musta been quite an experience...having a good story maybe is the best to come out of it...
..course Minnesota and Dayton are such hotbeds of terrorist activities....
..sometimes it occurs to me that folks are so busy chasin ghosts....that if a real threat came along...well...

like this thing that happened in the Boston area....silly guerrilla ad stunt gets the whole city in a frenzy .... bomb squads rushin all over ... bunch of signs of a hand with the finger extended... apparently they were worried we'd be offended to death??!....

Geeezzz Snow! Better not come down under! We had a guy here a few weeks ago who travels between here and Britian alot on our airline that begins with Q. He wore a T shirt with Shrub's name and the T word used in the same sentence on the front. They wouldn't let him on the plane unless he took it off......because it might SCARE other passengers!!!
He refused and got stuck here and got lots of media coverage.
Imagine what would have happened to HIM if he had been boarding your flight (any suggestions Larry?)

Oh Larry just for you......I was driving home from the Big Smoke yesterday.......takes me an hour. There is this guy who lives on the corner of aroundabout in a small industrial area where the acreage suburbs start. He just has this little corner block with a kind of trailer house. He has some vans and does Chuck Roasts at parties and stuff. Well he often has a sign up about political topics. Yesterday he had a HUGE billboard sign that said "Howard and Bush.....Siamese Twins joined at the BUTT!" (of course I'm sure he means head!!!)
(Howard is our Prime Minister for you who don't follow OZ politics)
When I saw it I immediatly thought of Larry..wonder why!
Because I thought you'd get a kick out of it silly!! Not because I think your a ButtHead!! You know I love ya!

So, you know, if one person, just one person wears a Peace on Earth t-shirt to the airport, they may think she’s dangerous, put her in a carpeted room, and take away her pants. And if two people, two people wear them, arm in arm, they'll say they're both faggots and they’ll put them in different rooms. And if three people wear them, three, can you imagine, three people walking in to the airport, wearing Peace on Earth t-shirts and peacefully surrendering their electronics for inspection? They may think it's an organization and google you. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day, I said fifty people a day walking in to the airport, wearing Peace on Earth t-shirts and attempting to lawfully board airplanes? They may think it’s a movement, and that my friends, is just what it is.

It’s the extremist trouserless student peacenik eco-terrorist movement and all you have to do to join wear a Peace on Earth t-shirt the next time you decide to fly the friendly skies.

So we'll wait for the elections to come around, again, and vote in them when they do. With feeling

I think I laughed out loud through this part. Well done!

Sounds like quite the ordeal. I'm sure Arlo was worth it, though
