I'm new here....My name is Kathy Dee aka MaidInBrooklyn and as Arlo informed me I am from the "Holy Land." Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and now living in Asheville, NC...."cause I can....

He and Robert Blye did a weekend up at Omega Inst. August 24, 25 & 26th. It was billed as two troublemakers who bring news of the soul. I had seen Arlo in the Spring here in Asheville and missed Robert when he was here in July....so I thought: What a wonderful opportunity to hang out with the guys..

Arlo sang and Robert recited poetry. It was a great weekend although I think it set the record for the most humid 3 days I have ever had in my life. There was some AC but with stage lights and people it was pretty intense...

Arlo played one of my favorite songs twice and I didn't even have to ask: Haleiwa Blues. He and Robert did a performance on Sat night....It was pretty impromptu so I don't know if there was a set list or not...But it was a wonderful weekend of music and words...getting to hear 2.5 days of Arlo singing and talking...I had a great time... THANKS ARLO!!!
