great show last night ... of course!... we arrived and I met Leo immediately...great to say "hi" Leo!!..

and the weather was a perfect starry night... cool and comfortable... the Boys were awesome together.... Krishna is a great drummer, of course... and along with some old favorites, Arlo picked out some songs I've never heard him do and others not for a long time... and Abe joined in with his great voice now and then... so here is a list from memory.... please excuse the lapses which no doubt i will do... and anyone add in what i miss...

I was there as well with my brother. It was a really great evening. I especially loved St. James Infirmary. I also loved the son "In the shade of the old apple tree". Heck, the whole show was great. Krishna was great on the drums. Would have liked to here him open up and do a solo. Abe was great as well. I couldnt help thinking though that here was three generations of Guthries on stage performing together and how lucky I was to be there to see it. I am especially thankfull that Arlo was able to come out and do a meet and greet. Although it was a short hello I was honored to finally meet him and get his autograph. Anyhow, the show was spectacular and my brother and I had a real great time.

I AM GOING TO THE COLLINGWOOD SHOW ON OCT 28TH. MY 6 AND 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTERS WANT TO COME TOO. IS THERE ANY THEME OR LANGUAGE ISSUES I SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT BRINGING SMALL CHILDREN? ASSIDE FROM THE OBVIOUS CONCERN THAT MY DAUGHTER MAY CHOOSE TO DRIVE HER BICYCLE OFF A CLIFF OR LITTER TO AVOID THE DRAFT

I would have to say yes. The over-abundence of peace, love and laughter could be dangerous to young ears.....

Have fun at the show. I know you will. Wish I was going to DC tonite. Guess I'll spend the nite depressed since I won't be able to go to DC lol. I've seen kids at his shows before, so I think yours will have fun...
