I can't wait! It's Arlo Day!!!!!!!

It's been an interesting few months... Tried to "end it all" a couple of times in March (how's that for dramatic?! But, I did), and then went to see the psychiatrist in room six-oh-three, and spent a week in the hospital and a month or so in out patient and got on some kinda boring drugs and stuff.

While in the joint... well, in room six-oh-three, I met a guy, and we're ... well, getting through stuff together way better than we didn't get through stuff apart. He and I are going to see Arlo tonight. (Front Row.)

PS - HUGS to everyone... and I was sorry to read about way more tragic (not self inflicted) stuff going on with others... Hugs to Fitzy and RB and others who need them, and good thoughts for everyone.

Hey... so you don't have to wait for Arnie... it's best to link to your pics... I know the Wizard likes to save on bandwidth, and pics eat up a lot of it!

Does "Bandwidth" have anything to do with a musical reference to America's obesity epidemic???

If I store the photos on my own site or in a premium flickr or photobucket account, the bandwidth would be my own, and have diddly-squat to do with arlo.net bandwidth.

However, if there are users still using dial up, it would slow down reception of the page (or at least the images)... so I'll just link to them, if that's the case.

That is, if I get photos and if I upload them. While I don't currently have dial up... a dial up connection would probably be more reliable and speedy than the crapola wireless supplied at my current residence. Then again, a visit to Caribou Coffee and their free wifi and excellent coffee may be in my near future.

And... obesity epidemic = star. Not as much as previously, but... dammit, I definitely qualify for obese BMI.

Welcome back! Hope things are going better for ya. I'm on meds for depression so I know how ya feel. Have fun seeing Uncle Arlo! Yeah, I'm one of the obese folks & don't care. I am more concerned with taking care of my health than what I weigh. Plus size people are beautiful...

This connection sucks, and the set list was lost. I am too tired and fed up to type it again... maybe someone having a decent day will beat me to it.

It was nice. Sarah Lee was fantastic. Arlo did not do Darkest Hour (or Slow Boat, or When a Soldier Makes it Home...) which I'd requested for me, for Todd, and for Bumper... My boyfriend doesn't understand why after one crappy day (really crappy), I could enjoy so much of the concert and still be broken hearted.

(The kids all graciously came out to Guthrie Graph... If Arlo was in the tour bus, he - it - left the parking lot rapidly - we thought it was going to hit all the curbs. He must have been having as crappy day as I did.)

The cute adorable blonde is Marjorie, Cathy's daughter........ I am a little bit upset that when I saw the show at Jorgensen a couple of weeks ago, Annie did not sing a song nor the family sang "Sunny Side of Life". IMO sometimes these set lists are unpredictable and also unfair to other concert goers.

I am wondering if Arlo is going to do anymore meet and greets in the future? Did he give them up forever?

I hope not as we sure enjoy seeing him. Sure hope he wasn't sick or anything. Vibes & prayers to Arlo...

Cheryl: I agree that big is beautiful & fine and stuff. However, I was big to the point where it was affecting my health, and if I didn't rein things back in, I was headed back down that road.

In losing weight, I learned that I really like (of all things) running. I dunno why, it makes no sense, but I do. But, even being a little overweight, or pretty overweight instead of MEGA-Super-Fantastic-overweight, as I was before... that's rough on my knees.

Plus, I really (REALLY) like sleeping without a CPAP machine and not snoring and all that stuff. I know they make smaller ones, but the one I had (state of the art when I got it) took up half a suitcase. TRY going anywhere with 1 suitcase when half of it is a machine to help you breathe at night! What a pain!!!!!

Ok. So, at work I have a better internet connection, and can hook up my netbook wirelessly. Was going to upload the gig photos yesterday and then on Sunday, Sasha (not Facha, unfortunately) the German Shepherd Dog had a seizure (surmises the vet), and I spent yesterday being her nurse n stuff. She was improving all day long, and by evening was back to her usual bounce off the walls self.

And so today I have uploaded the photos to:

There are 5 pages, 100 photos. I kept a few that weren't up to the standards I was trying to apply - including 2 of great smiles by Sarah... cept she moved, too. But since they were my best smile shots, I kept them.

PeaceLovenArlo... I kind of agree with what you said and kind of don't. I like that the set lists change some. And yes, I get bummed if I don't hear my absolute favorite song of all time (Darkest Hour), but... well, I have it on cd. I think what hurt most was that I requested it, Slow Boat (in memory of Todd) and When a Soldier Makes it Home (for Bumper) as soon as I'd gotten the tickets - with an explanation of why they were important...

I really didn't expect all three, or even a dedication - if he'dve played one, I would have felt the dedication in my heart.

I was disappointed that he didn't do the meet and greet, and the (grand)kids made it sound like that's kind of just the way it is, now... but I really couldn't say for sure.

I'll probably reduce the size of a couple of the photos and post them as links here... or maybe not - but I'm kind of proud of a couple of those shots.
