Is anyone going to the Philadelphia/Glenside show at the Keswick?

Whew, what a wasted trip THAT would have been otherwise! Thanks, Arlo

If for any reason you can't make it and need to sell your tickets - email me!
Just curious - where are your seats?

 That's funny! It made me think of the beautiful blond haired gal, that was giving streching exercises at the Church last May. She started getting into it, admitting she was nervous because Arlo was there. From way back by the roadside, Arlo gave a yell. "I'm not here! It just looks that way".

*that's a philosophy I need to start having. I'm not here!!! Not that they notice me much anyhow....(unless I have the remote) L.O.L.

sorta be here now, see you later type of thing??? (sounds like one for Larry to ponder)

My friend Mari ordered the tickets, I don't know for sure where they are, but I do know they're in the back. Being so short, I'm not all that happy about it, but I'll survive.

Looks like everyone will be at the Keswick but us. It's too far to go there after Staunton & Roanoke. Maybe next yr. At least I get 2 Arlo shows here in VA which is a real treat. Nice seeing ya on here ADG! See ya Thurs! :) Have fun at the Keswick folks! Ya'll can have my seat! :)

I didn't think that I'd be able to make it down to the Keswick show tonight, but a sudden shift of plans changed all that. I called this morning of the show itself and though the concert is "close to sold out" according to the person on the phone I spoke to, there are were few tickets left. So I'm going with a buddy - no matter what my wife says when she finds out! Could anyone tell me if there's a good cheap food and beer joint nearby?

Glad you could make it. Right at the corner, across the street from the theater is a restaurant. I don't think it's cheap, tho. It's also usually crowded. You might have to go into Jenkintown to Fairway to find basic food. I'm not too familiar with Glenside, although I did work there for almost a year... I never left the office :(

Plan to get there early and drive around. There may be some basic restaurants or bar/restaurants nearby, north of the theater.

I found the Keswick's website has a listing of restaurants:

Terrie, thanks for the restaurant info! I don't have a great seats due to my last second ticket purchase, but sometimes these last minute, spur-of-moment roadtrips turn out to be the best! Onto Keswick...and Carnegie!

I know this is late after the fact but it may help for next yr. There is a good chinese restuarant that's not too pricey near the Keswick. I think it's a few doors down or something. We've ate there a few times. We always run into blunderites there. Wish I could've gone to the Keswick but it was too close to Staunton & Roanoke. Maybe next time...
