I've grown up hearing arlo and other great singer song writers filling the silence in and around our farmhouse in virginia here. I remember the first time i saw the movie about alice, her restaurant, and the gang. I was 14, and i think i watched for two weeks straight! Never did i think i'd get a chance to see arlo in person, let alone shake his hand. BUt thursday night in Staunton virginia, Arlo and family came and put on one shoe tappin' hands a clappin' singin'celebration. It was just like i was meant to be there. I found so much inspiration and joy from being there last night. Hearing the stories and songs, the laughter and smiles. It sure was swell! I've only been alive now for 25 years, but these songs are able to reach all generations. I also really enjoyed sarah lee and johnny boy. what a special event. I really do hope arlo and family will decide to come back through again! peace

Amen. Glad you had a great time. We did too. Excellent show!. :) Hope he comes back there again. :) Had a great time at Roanoke. Show was great but theatre wasn't. They searched ya on the way in like you were a criminal. Yuck! But Arlo made up for it. We had a great time! Thanks Arlo & Baldwinville & Petie & Martha & Abe, Sarah Lee, Gordon, Johnny & the baby Guthrie!!!! :)

i'm at a camp right now for Shakespeare/acting, and all the performances we do are on the Blackfriars stage in Stauton. It's so neat for me to think that last weekend and this weekend i'll be performing on the same stage that Arlo played on. Plus, my director was on Power Rangers! And the theatre is so neat too! Yeah, random thought...
