Milwaulkee Fri. April 16
With Abe and Gordon playing on either side of Arlo, the crowd was treated to alot of great music and many, many stories. Arlo was definatly at his finest! Not only playing songs from every record, 8-track, cassette, or cd i own, but we got to hear some great new stuff too. Arlo's voice was strong and happy all night. The ballads were sung with a tenderness that can only come from the heart. The stories Arlo told, many of which would come at any point during a song " as a thought was just wandering by", not only kept us laughing, but were also meaning-filled. After the show, we were able to meet, talk to, shake hands, take pictures with, and say "thanks, Arlo", which made the night one of those memorable "Rockwell moments" for my daughters and me.
