Second show attended, previous one Arlo 'alone' with Madison Symphony Orch. THAT was cool. This one of the 17th was also very good, different from previous and that's good!!

I work with soldiers coming back from and going to Iraq in the Behavioral Health Unit. They come back, sit for 4 hours getting debriefings(information) one of which is from BH. As Arlo sang I got the idea to come into my briefing with boombox and the Patriot song, or This Land is your land; to wake them up!! Thinking that would get their attention and they just might have more willingness to visit us to tell us how they feel so we can get the soldiers assistance upon their return home.

Also thinking of asking Arlo to provide a short 'personel' Welcome Home' to the soldiers at Fort McCoy. The songs, thoughts, stories sure appeal to me and will be using them to 'repay' the soldiers going over, coming back, and for the buddies NOT returning.

Whew,,anyway,,,see the show!!!

Wow... you are doing some very important work... and I think your idea of playing those songs will be a wonderful way to help these servicepeople open up and deal with the anxieties that they may otherwise try to bury.
