My first post here so id just like to say hello to everyone.
I attended arlos show at the calumet theatre on thursday sept 23rd. Also my first time ever seeing arlo and i was VERY impressed. and it was a pretty special show since it was in calumet, so obviously he played 1913 massacare and you could definatley feel it was pretty damn special. Arlo seemed like he was havin a really good time. and i was lucky enough to meet him during intermission. He started out playing quite a few woody songs. The Highlights of the show for me was definatley:
1913 Massacare
Coming into los angeles
Darkest Hour (frickin amazing guitar playing, extremely impressive)
Popular Demand (which is one kick ass song)
Me & Bobby McGee
Ship Comes in (proceeded by a very interesting story about when he first met bob dylan)
And he was really smokin during the encore which was a teaser of alices restraunt and then the band went into a bluegrass sounding insturmental which was really good too.
Id have to say my first time seeing arlo was a great experience in a historic building and the atmosphere was really good.
And if arlo happens to read this PLEASE COME BACK TO CALUMET AGAIN.

Welcome to arlo.net lost3459 and thanks for posting. Ever since I saw Calumet, MI on the schedule I've been wondering if Arlo would do "1913 Massacre" there. The last time Springsteen played in SC he DIDN'T do "Darlington County". That was a bit of a dissapointment.

I too had wondered if he'd do "1913 Massacre" at thet show. I keept see that show on the schedule it reminded me of that song...
