Saw the show -- EXCEPTIONAL!!! Laughed, cried, clapped, and sang along. Had a terrific time. Arlo was even kind enough to autograph my Alice's Restaurant album; SO glad I brought it along and had the courage to ask. Thank you again, Arlo. When I bought that album 35 years ago, I never dreamed I would get to see you perform, let alone talk to you or have you sign that album. Wow!

I hope your home and business remained intact under the onslaught of hurricane Jeanne. It had to be very difficult to be doing a show so far away while a hurricane was rolling onshore at home.

Thank you for coming to northern Minnesota and please, please come again. I'll be there if you will.

I too was at the show in Coleraine - about the 5th time I've seen Arlo in concert thru the years - this one was great. Never gotten/wanted an autograph from anyone before, but decided to go backstage this time and Arlo signed the inside of my harmonica box. Seemed appropriate. Been teaching myself to play - hey, I have a long commute - others are on their cellphones, I have my harps. Back at our hotel my husband and son were teasing me about my thrill of actually talking to Arlo - when one of them passed by the lobby (Sawmill Inn) and saw Arlo checking in! They stayed in the poolside rooms just above us and I got to say good morning to him in the corridor and we chatted with him out on the steps in the morning. 35 years of sitting crosslegged on my bed playing along to his music on my flute and I actually got to talk to him - it's like a Catholic meeting the Pope, ya know? My coworkers are laughing at my lingering state of euphoria here. He's still in Minnesota this week - thanks Arlo and come back real soon.

I too got to meet Arlo on Saturday night!
I made him a necklace that afternoon, in hopes of meeting him.
When my husband thought he may be in the side room off the stage, I knocked on the door!
I didn't even think twice, I just knocked. I wasn't nervous at all, until he opened the door and there was ARLO, standing face to face with me!!!!!
It was as if I was hit with the stupid stick! I was instantly in shock and barely got any words out!!! What a dork I am!!!!
I didn't even introduce myself, I just handed over the necklace and said I made this for you!! Then he asked what it was, a shell or what? I told him it was a piece of clay that washes ashore in Canada. The necklace turned out really cool and I'm glad that I made it for him.
I hope he liked it!
I just wish I had talked to him more and of course introduced myself!
I still feel silly that I became so nervous, I just couldn't believe I was actually talking to such a legend!
So, Arlo, if you read this, THANK YOU!! I feel very honored to have seen you in concert and even more honored to have met you and given you a piece of my artwork!
Thank you,
Starr
