hey, i got to be there! thanks to sue and cheryl & mike for saving us a seat, cause we needed one! (or three...or four...)
anyway, we had a lot of fun...it was great to see t-shirt cathy after about a gazillion years...her hair is all long now...kinda like a mermaid!
it's good to see arlo again...i finally got banjoman!! i haven't listened to it yet but i will when i can take my time about it...thanks again arlo, i'll see you again as soon as i can.
AND, i got to see cheryl's canjo. and let me tell you, she can play it!(some folks think there aren't enough strings, but i swear she was bending some notes)...i think my dad told me about some such instrument that he (and them) made way back in the day (even before i was borned!) but this is the first i've seen.
as usual everyone sounded great...arlo being himself...gordon on all his instruments...was that a mandolin? really nice. and sarah sounded beautiful as usual...i don't know much about instruments, but the guitar she had was beautiful to look at...very beautiful...was it very very old? and abe was all that...at some point he had his keyboard sounding like soulful organ.
anyways, thanks again arlo and everyone...i'll be back again as soon as i can.

ps...i hope someone else has a setlist, maybe cheryl...i don't....

It was so nice seeing you guys & Sue & T-Shirt again. & AG too! We had a excellent time! I'm no expert on the canjo but we try. I called this yrs trips from the summer on up the canjo world tour since I got the canjo on a trip to Mikes sisters in OH & have brought it on all my trips since then. So I guess the canjo world tour is officially over. Fri we'll go explore the Potomac Mills Outlet Mall & lunch at Silver Diner & then go to the mall in Fredericksburg & then our traveling is over for the yr. Except we do wanna go to Va Beach for the day before Christmas sometime to hit the Value City store & Pembroke mall there. I kept a setlist but it maybe a few yrs before I get it up as I am tired lol & when I get home I gotta rest up lol...

Thanks to Sue, Agnes, Don, T-Shirt, Abeski, Gordon, Michael, Sarah Lee, The Church, Mike, the lady who liked Bob Dylan in Harrisonburg & anyone else out there for a fun time during concert season! :) & a Big thanks to ADG for being so sweet & for great shows & a great concert season! To quote the Stones "We Love You"...

Now onto a few pics:

hmmm...i remember that. i had just remembered something (i thought the flash going off was visible proof that i'd thought of something) but now i don't remember what i had just remembered.

btw, banjoman is great. "here comes the philosophical part folks, 'dum-de-dum-de-dum...'"

I was at the wednesday show. I had not seen Arlo in about 2 years. Must say the show was great. I really enjoyed the selection of songs.Especially liked Tambourine Man, Me and Bobby Mcgee and Keep on the Sunny Side. Makes me wish I was going to Carnegie Hall.
Need to get Arlo to come back to Richmond Va.
