Set List:
Chilling of the Evening
Gypsy Davy
Oklahoma Hills
St. James Infirmiry
49 & 49 (Sarah Lee)
Mr. Tambourine Man
The Motorcycle Song
Darkest Hour
Morning's Over (Sarah Lee)
Haleiwa Blues
Coming Into Los Angeles
**Intermission**
Green, Green Rocky Road
When A Soldier Makes It Home
St. Louis Tickle
Slow Boat
When The Ship Comes In
Patriot's Dream
City Of New Orleans
Keep on the Sunny Side (Sarah Lee)
Me and Bobby McGee
My Old Friend
This Land
**Encore**
You Are My Sunshine (Sarah Lee, holding Olivia)
Black Mountain Rag (Johnny joined in, Abe holding Olivia)

This was a very good show, at least as good as last year's, in spite of a few technical glitches (dead mics, etc.) which Arlo handled so well (well enough that some people actually thought it was part of the show). I'm hoping this will become an annual event at the Newberry Opera House. (Well, it is, so far anyway)

Thanks for the setlist! Sounds almost like one of the recent VA shows except Sarah Lee didn't do Morning's Over. Glad you had a great time! Sorry you didn't get to go to the VA shows! They were fun! Maybe next time. He was great the time I went to Newberry! :)

Two years in a row now, I have boarded a plane in Boston, MA (well, Revere!) and ventured to my former hometown of Newberry, SC to see Arlo, Sarah Lee, Johnny, and Abe at probably one of the nicest venues out there, The Newberry Opera. Two years in a row, the trip has been specifically to go to the concert, and I have been more than thrilled by the experience. Arlo, I do have one complaint.... when there were sound problems, you should have seized the opportunity to experience the acoustics of that remarkable stage. There is nothing like it in this world. Next year, try a song without the sound system. (Even if it is just for you.) I have heard from performers over the years that the building has perfect sound. Since I think you're perfect, that's a great match!
Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Porter
