I am going to be at one of the shows at the Restaurant this July. I was curious if there was camping nearby? I think the closest I have found is about 10 miles, I was not sure if any of you "regulars" could point me in the right direction.

Are you referring to the shows over the July 4th weekend at The Church? If so, there is a campground fairly close, but they are filled. The closest I found for a good rate (tenting) is in Copake, NY, about 40 minutes away. Others are in Otis and Washington, MA but they are about the same distance time-wise. One was too expensive for tenting and the other didn't have electric, I think. That's why I'm staying in Copake, NY that weekend. Hope this helps.

Update:

I was able to make a reservation at October Mt, which apparently is like 10 miles away. They initially said they were booked for the Friday and Saturday (July 1 and 2), and that the minimum stay was two nights. So, I asked about Thursday and Friday (Jun 30 and Jul 1) and they were available. So, in short, I did get a close spot (I think, anyway) for about $33.

Dave, were you ableto get a site with both electric and water? And are there shower facilities? I remembered it's a state park/forest and that utilities were very limited. Please let me know and if they do have sites with both then I might change my reservation to October Mtn.

Negative on the electricity/water.

Any chance that anyone else is going to be at the October Mt camp for the July 1 show? It would be nice to be in the company of other Arlo fans.
