I was lucky enough to see Arlo last night @ Cain Park in Cleveland Heights, OH. I have been attending concerts there for 7 summers and the show last night was the best I've seen in that time. The Mammals opened and quickly gained a house full of new fans. Arlo's show was the greatest. He sang, played, told stories on himself and was in great form. Gordon Titcomb even sang a solo from his new "Last Train" album.
On stage at one time were two generations of Guthries, one Segar (Tao) and one Unger (Ruth).
My wife and I took our daughter's family to the concert. Our three grandkids were introduced to folk music in a live venue, and what a show it was. "Alice's Restaurant" was the best I've heard. "The City of New Orleans" brought roars from the crowd as did "This Land is Your Land". Great show, great venue, good times had by all.

This is a little late, but I'd like to tell you that the concert at Cain Park was the best I've ever seen Arlo. He mentioned several times how much he liked the venue. It is beautiful. The Mammals were fantastic, but ran out of CD's, so I didn't get one. Gordon was really good. Arlo had a Great Hair Day! So soft & biblical!
