Thanks for the uplifting concert tonight in Ithaca, N.Y. I teach elementary school music and would like a recording of the last song...Arlo's melody to Woody's lyrics about the peace inside oneself. Please advise me. It was a wonderful evening! Thanks again!

I've been to a lot of concerts in the recent years, but last night has to be the best one I've ever seen. The Mammals were also incredibly good, I've heard of them elsewhere and had legally downloaded some of their songs from their website before, and I liked them a lot, so I was very excited to see them live along with Arlo.
This was the first time that I've seen Arlo, and same goes for my dad who went with me. He tried to show up for an Arlo concert for nearly 30 years and something always came up. He said that it was one of the best shows that he has been to. The venue was great, the opening act was great, the audience was great, and the energy level was imense, and it seemed that everyone was having a great time. Arlo played a great set with nothing but incredible classic songs and a few new ones. Not to mention he was hilarious, I didn't know he has such a great sense of humor. The 2 hour drive to Ithaca was definatly worth it.
I never thought I'd ever get to "wait for it to come around on the guitar again", my mom is very strict when it comes to concert, but when I told her that Arlo was coming, she had to agree, which surprised me. The last song, written by woody, was probably my favorite, I hope that Arlo releases it someday.

I'll just echo the sentiments expressed here. Great show from beginning to end! Totally worth the 5 1/2 hour drive up to Ithaca, the two tanks of petrol consumed to and fro, the wretched, ersatz Mexican food consumed pre-show and the no frills (and kinda spooky) $44 a night truck-stop motel off Interstate-81 in Binghamton. A local bookshop/record seller had a score of Arlo's old LPs lined up for display in the store window (and at very reasonable prices for anyone interested in the old vinyl). Pretty cool!

The concert in Ithaca was great. It was the best we've seen. As we made
our way back to the lobby after the concert to buy a CD, I had a delightful
experience. I was standing amid a crush of people inching their way toward
the counter to buy concert stuff when someone behind me said, "Great show." I heard the guy next to me say, "Thanks." I looked and was
shocked to see Arlo standing right next to me. I wanted to say, "Great show.
We love you Arlo,." but I was just stunned. I was pointing at Arlo and looking
over my shoulder to find my husband so he could see me pointing at him.
So, Arlo, sorry I was so dorky. Great show. We love you.
