If Arlo wasn't such a great singer songwriter, i'm convinced that he would be just as popular as a comedian. My sides are still hurting from his funny stories about life on the road, airport security & "new" mandolin strings as weapons for terrorists. The only thing that could have made this concert better would be having Arlo perform more than 2 hours, I know it's not realistic, but I never said I wasn't selfish

WOW!! Reminds me of coming out of a Harry Potter movie Those stories that you described are the same exact ones at the UMASS show nearly two weeks ago. I got a kick out of the story of "Joseph and the Color Coat" during "This Land Is Your Land" and the story told before "Coming Into Los Angeles" I had no foggiest clue what Arlo meant at first by 36C I thought he was doing a campaign for lingerie as in padded bras .....Thanks for the setlist

How did I forget about the "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" story. That was absolutely hilarious. Thanks for reminding me. Oh and the song by Gordon Titcomb was "Last Train". It's all coming back to me in small pieces. I swear I didn't inhale

Sure no charge I agree with about the Joseph story, it was the most hilarious out of the whole show I haven't laughed so hard in a long time, my laughing hurt for a whole week I felt like a new woman breaking the menopause cycle

Being one of the family of regulars that Arlo mentioned, (my wife and I have been coming to Carnegie Hall the Saturday after Thanksgiving for over 25 years now), I think I can safely offer my opinion that this was one of the best shows ever - Arlo was perfect - voice and humor right on the mark. And the Mammals and Sarah Lee and Johnny were fantastic. I guess that this being the end of a 6+ month tour they have honed the music and stories to a fine edge. The only sad moment was the rememberance of Harold Leventhal - a smiling face that will be missed. What started as a regular event for my wife and myself, and grew into a family affair for us with the kids now includes our granddaughter. Thank you Arlo and company for another concert to remember.

You're right, my mistake. Because the setlists from NJPAC and Carnegie were so similar I cut and pasted the NJPAC list to this thread and neglected to delete Darkest Hour. Thanks for noticing, I've edited the post to take it out. What a great weekend. Spent alot of time with our blunder family, did'nt get alot of sleep. I'm still tired, but it's a good tired.
