A terrific set in Atlanta. There were some true fans on hand. Unfortunately, the audience seemed like it needed to be on life support. Arlo played his heart out. I don't think he received the recognition he deserves. There were the real fans. They were tremendous. The list was:

Ridng Down the Canyon (WOW!)- Thanks Arlo
Mr. Tambourine Man
St. James Infirmary
Everything's Coming Together (title?)
Haleiwa Farewell (Beautiful)
Darkest Hour
Green Green Rocky Road (title?)
LA
Sing Me Back Home
Alice (The only song that got the audience on their feet)
Popular Demand
Patriots Dream(awesome- I was hoping to hear it)- Thanks Arlo
City of New Orleans
This Land

Encore- alyrics by Woody that he put music to. I hope he records a new lp to put this on

dja. Sounds like a great setlist. anyhow, thanks for giving me a chuckle this am. I love your analogy of ' some audience members' needing to be on life support.

I could never really figure out, why some folks are so partial to Alice's Rest. Altho even myself, found me liking it last Fall. ( I couldn't believe he could breath new life into that old song. 'But like magic arlo did just that, and I laughed harder than I can put into words )

* I guess it's just the fact that Arlo has such a large catelog of music. Call me a romantic, or whatever. Certain songs, bring back memorys, and your soul seems to swell inside. If even for a moment...

I was playing samples off from Itunes last nite, and just 30 seconds of "Oh Mom" ( live version off from "Harp" ) & it had me drifting off in another state. I guess some people just don't get it. Far be it, for me to figure anybody out..

Tx again for the chuckle :)
Peace out/Rb
