Next door to the old auditorium (the one my where my mother once attended Frank Sinatra and Fred Waring & The Pennsylvanians types of concerts in the 40's) is a business with an illuminated sign that could be viewed with the auditorium in the background: "Injury, Accident & Pain Relief Center." Indeed, the good Doc. cured a lot of people tonight.

Within minutes the crowd was under Arlo's spell. It was a great bunch. Mostly Rotarians, with a few "Peace & Love types" thrown in. But Arlo could tell that there were "weird people here tonight; many disguised as normal." It was his gift of leading with love and finding common ground that hooked everyone. I am, as usual in awe of his beauty and skill, and the wonderful support of his side men and woman. Namaste.

Butterball, did Arlo do a meet and greet afterwards? Just Curious...what a great setlist sounded like an awesome show I almost got tickets for the show and besides this month is a bad time for me with the stress going on at my job so I am going next month to the church where I will be free as a bird

There might have been a M&G, but we didn't check it out. There was a rainstorm after the show that sent people scurrying. We had to get home to the dog before our socks became a medical emergency in her stomach. Still under the Guthrie spell today. His guitar and piano playing just get better and better and his show is as always sparkling. His loving presence and ability to say so much without saying it literally (or succinctly) always convinces me that we got one of those pretty serious spiritual guides on our hands, disguised as the normal folkslinger everyone thinks they're coming to see. ("Normal Folkslinger"? That would be an oxymoron). And as always, he reminds us that "we're the ones we've been waiting for." So thanks for the vote of confidence, Mr. G.

Most of Connecticut was drenched with potental rain showers and rained cats and dogs Friday night. Good thing I did not go to Bridgeport because I'd be stepping on a poodle big time and my face would be on every telephone pole as a result of an animal molester I live near the University of Connecticut and Bridgeport is an hour from where I live.
From your commentary Butterball, it seems like Arlo's songs, performances, instrument playing, and voice are getting extremely marvey and it puts a sparkle everywhere and glistens a peace sign with silver .....Remember without Arlo we bust!

Hey all, awesome show in Bridgeport - first time ever seeing Arlo live and I left feeling renewed and restored and better equipped to deal with this world - and i would love to share that feeling with others through his encore "My Peace" are there any recordings of it available?
