Very awesome show I think the setlist was the same as the CT show, but there were some songs on there that I didn't know. Arlo narrated a lot--and seems to have some built up aminosity against some guy named Dylan Alice's Restaurant was a pleasure to listen too...it was very similar to the original recording--no extra stuff added in. CONO and Coming into LA got thunderous applause, as did TLIYL. Arlo did talk about how this was the last concert for a bit, before he goes back on the road before performing the motorsickle song. I think he was getting antsy to get on the road on his bike

Arlo did do a meet and greet afterwards--saw there was a lot of interesting things people wanted him to sign. One item included a Woody Guthrie song book that was published for the Guthrie Children Trust Fund. I had a couple of posters signed--one for my former H.S. history teacher--and one for my girlfriend who really wanted a poster. I wanted the "Not moral enough" T-shirt for myself but they didn't have it there On the bright side, Arlo seemed to enjoy the food item I picked up for him--it was called "Moose Munch". I told him I believed in feeding hungry hippies.

Overall this show was well worth the 4 hour drive from Saginaw, Michigan. We didn't get any good show pictures, because it was no flash photography, and we were quite far back, but I do have the pic from the meet and greet that my husband, mr.hi-c took, and also the marquee from the Ritz Theater:

I didn't stay for the meet and greet - the perfume was getting to all of us in my group - but the guy that had that book was a friend of a friend. I got to at least fondle it before it Arlo signed it. I was awesome. And it was found in a bookstore in my hometown - if only I'd gone looking :-)

Truely a great show, even tho everyone was obviously a bit road-weary. I hope they have you back soon, Arlo!

Sat in the front row at the Tiffin show and was overwhelmed as to how good the show was. We bought our tickets last August in hopes of sitting close.

What a great story teller and song writer. I'm just a few years younger and saw Alice's Restaurant when it was in theaters and bought my first album in '72.

I might be mistitling songs but you will know what I mean. "Darkest Hour" is simply a great song. Arlo has a great voice for these types of ballads. We bought the Live from Sydney C.D. and there is a song on there called "Highway in the Wind" which is equally as good. "My Peace" was also great!

Enjoyed the story about Cisco and the song "St. James' Infirmary". There's just too much to recall. We hung around afterward as we had heard about the "meet and great"; sure enough, in a very short time out Arlo came to the lobby. He accomdated everyone's request for pictures and autographs and chatted away with everyone including my ten-year old son, Sam. Sam has an autograph which says: "To Sam - Arlo Guthrie." He has it proudly displayed in his room.

I regret that I never saw him perform until two weeks ago when I have followed him for almost 40 years. I would go again in a minute!

His band was very good, also. And, although a lot of the repartee was "show business" (which it would have to be when you are on the road alot), I thought the band seemed in good spirits and seemed to be enjoying itself.

I know I'm in late to the audience of those of you who have seen him over the years. But, if you are like me and haven't gone to see him, you really need to go.

I told a teacher friend today that I wish I could give about 50 of the "Live from Sydney" C.D's to friends. I can't think of a better gift to give to someone you really care about.
