Since I've never been to Proctor's, I was looking at the instructions on the Proctor's website and then I was looking at MapQuest. Proctor's says to use exit 5 and MapQuest says to use exit 4C. Any local knowledge of the better choice out there? Thanks!

Kurt, you're probably 3/4 of the way here by now... but I would take Exit 5, and just go down broadway to State Street, then look for parking anywhere in the area.

I'll be there... looking for you!
HUGS!

I didn't see you, Kurt, though I looked for you! I'm sorry I missed you!

The show tonight was wonderful! Proctor's is a great theater, with terrific acoustics. I was sitting toward the back, but still had a great view of most of the stage.

The setlist is a little different than the last few days, which makes sense, since those were in Canada.

First set:

In My Darkest Hour
St. James Infirmary
Haleiwa Farewell
Slow Boat
St. Louis Tickle
Ol' Shep
Me and My Goose
Mother Queen of my Heart (Special for mothers day... and I'm curious if it was a request from Alan Chartock)
*Seat 36C
Comin' into Los Angeles
Green Green Rocky Road

~Intermission~

Red Haired Boy
Alice's Restaurant
In Times Like These
Back by Popular Demand
Patriot's Dream
City of New Orleans
Motorcycle Song
This Land (interrupted by Joseph story, which was VERY well received)
This Land (conclusion)

~Encore~
My Peace

Hi Wyld!

Yup, Exit 5 was the way to go. Boy was it raining or what? I had ordered tickets back in November so me and my mrs. was way over to Gordon's side two rows from the stage. Everyone was in good voice tonight. Great job on Mother, Queen Of My Heart.

I don't believe I've ever heard the song Mother, Queen Of My Heart before, so I looked up the words. Great song. Wish I'd heard Arlo sing it.

The public radio fund drives use it here in the Albany area. (Alan uses Newspapermen Meet Such Interesting People as sung by Pete as a theme song for The Media Project on WAMC.)

A version of Mother, Queen Of My Heart can be found on the first Arlo and Pete album Together In Concert.

The Mother The Queen Of My Heart on the first live album Arlo did with Pete it's a great version. :) That's where I recall hearing it & I think I heard him do it in concert once or twice...
