wow. I bought the front row tickets about 7 months before the concert, and drove from South TX with my family to make it. I saw Bob Dylan in Oct, and must say that Arlo's show was so much more fulfilling! My emotions were so strong that I know Arlo wondered "who is this girl crying in the front row?" It was a tad embarassing, since my hubby never got that kind of reaction from me (haha!), but the tears kept on like the "river flows". Sarah and Johnny had my ears 'a tinglin' and then Arlo and Abe came out to round out the stage. Arlo was literally directly in front of me and i couldn't bring myself to make eye contact with him for more than a few seconds at a time, lest I die right there! His tributes to his dad, and to Bob were almost too much for my little would-be hippie self! It was all I could do to not jump my pregnant self on the stage and embrace them all. But I will always remember the look in his eyes, the perfection in his voice, and the love that was so obvious within the family. Concerts are my church, and I was saved on April 13, 2002. The absolute best music I have ever heard. Everything is burned into my mind and I will never forget the stolen glances. It made my life complete. As corny as that sounds, it's true. I have now seen Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Phil Collins, Bob Dylan, Moody Blues, Santana...and Arlo Guthrie. I can now say that I have seen my favorites. And Sarah Lee is a close second. God Bless the family that had me in tears for 2 hours. And thanks to Arlo, for making eye contact with his biggest 28 year old fan.

arlofan24! Sounds like an incredible show. It's always nice to see the folkslinger in great form. Perfection is his strong suit. Johnny and Sara are the icing on the cake.

And Abraham is something to behold. A true Wizard, A True star! Love Xavier. The blundervibes after a show seem to last for wks, sometimes. Least that's been my experience, when you get that 'special show'. Every show couldn't be special or perfect, or it wouldn't make the good times good!!!! I DO KNOW WHAT your talking about seeing 'the' perfect show tho. And emotion can run deep in Arlo. He's a hell of a man, and his family emulates that love of life, that power to keep on going, and to laugh untill it hurts, even when sometimes ya don't feel like laughing! Hey! I was in the front row in Mobile on the left side. My husband and I we sitting in the middle seats out of the six seats on that side. We drove from Baton Rouge and I got my tickets online in January. It was awesome!!! Glad to see someone else who was there and loved it as much as I did!
